UCSF names campus gateway for J. Michael Bishop

UCSF says a gateway at its Mission Bay campus will be named for former chancellor and Nobel laureate J. Michael Bishop. The announcement followed an October 2 memorial recalling his cancer research and leadership. Bishop died in March; the campus naming is the new development.
