The Father of a USS Lincoln Sailor Is Released From ICE Detention

Luis Manuel Aviles, the father of Navy sailor Joshua Aviles, has been released from immigration detention, the family said. The sailor posted a statement on Facebook confirming his father had been returned to the family. The detention had drawn attention because the son is serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
