They're a World Leader in Medical Drones, but Drones Can't Do It All
Rwanda has become the global reference case for delivering blood and medicine by drone, cutting delivery times in rural districts from hours to minutes. But health workers there describe the ceiling: drones move small payloads to fixed points and cannot substitute for clinics, staff or roads. The lesson is that leapfrog technology relieves a bottleneck without removing the underlying one.
