Brain study finds structured changes under psilocybin

Ars Technica reports a study of 62 participants scanned sober and after psilocybin during rest, meditation, music and video. Researchers found weaker communication within brain networks and stronger links between networks. They propose an account of altered perception; the experiment does not demonstrate a treatment benefit or establish its mechanism conclusively.
