More Than 150 Migrants Are Rescued After a Boat Catches Fire in the English Channel

French and British crews pulled more than 150 people from the water after a small boat carrying migrants caught fire mid-crossing in the English Channel. The rescue was one of the largest single operations in the busy shipping lane this year and renewed pressure on both governments over the overcrowded, unseaworthy vessels being pushed off the northern French coast.
