NASA Prepares to Launch a Space Telescope That Could Change How We See the Universe

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is scheduled to launch on Aug. 30 on a mission to investigate some of the most pressing mysteries in cosmology. Researchers expect it to survey vast portions of the sky and gather data on dark energy and distant supernovae. The observatory is designed to complement, not replace, existing space telescopes.
