Smithsonian shares livestream of five newborn cheetah cubs

Five cheetah cubs were born October 5 at the Smithsonian’s conservation campus in Virginia, Smithsonian Magazine reports. Staff say first-time mother Zura and the cubs are doing well and monitor them through a den camera while allowing the family to bond. The livestream shares progress in a breeding program; the species remains vulnerable in the wild.
