Cell division helps reorganize growing tissue, organoid study finds

via Phys.org·11h ago

A Stowers Institute study in Current Biology combined imaging of mouse intestinal organoids with modeling to show how dividing cells rearrange their neighbors, Phys.org reports. Across 33 filmed divisions, withdrawal and reinsertion played different roles. The result concerns tissue organization in a laboratory model, not a demonstrated treatment.
