Colorado climate literacy seals pair coursework with local projects
About 1,200 Colorado students have earned a climate literacy seal by completing courses and a community project, the Hechinger Report says, citing nonprofit Lyra Colorado. Projects include pollution-monitoring gardens and habitat work, and other states are adopting similar endorsements. Funding and access vary between districts; long-term workforce benefits remain to be measured.
