via Phys.org·5h ago

City University of Hong Kong researchers tested nanoneedle arrays that capture RNA and map signals back to individual cells in fresh tissue without sequencing or amplification, the university reports through Phys.org. Experiments used mouse neural tissue and human colorectal biopsies. The method could simplify research workflows; routine clinical use and patient benefits remain prospective.
