UAE completes probe for planned asteroid mission

The UAE completed a 10-kilogram probe designed and built domestically for its asteroid-belt mission, Nature reports. It will be integrated with a jointly developed spacecraft in Colorado ahead of a planned March 2028 launch and 2035 arrival at Justicia. Completion was announced October 1; launch, arrival and scientific results remain ahead.
